Line-of-business system support for SMEs

We make your Unik, Advosys or Dynamics work in everyday life — together with M365, network and endpoints. We do not host the system itself; we take care of the IT around it.

THE CHALLENGE

Falling between two stools?

Many SMEs using line-of-business systems such as Unik, Advosys or Dynamics experience a familiar pattern: the system vendor delivers the platform, but the everyday IT questions around it do not always get the attention they deserve. That is not a criticism of the vendors — their expertise lies in the platform. It is just not the same as having a local IT partner.

Long waits on support tickets

When the ticket is not about the system itself but about a printer or an M365 integration, it often slips down the vendor's pile.

Tasks that span several fronts

A new member of the admin team needs access to the system, M365, mobile and print. That takes coordination — and someone who takes responsibility for the whole.

Daily questions that are not core system

Outlook rules, OneDrive sync, mobile MFA, a laptop that cannot join the network. Small things that drag on without local IT.

No local IT department

Many SMEs do not have an in-house IT person with the time and expertise to coordinate between vendors and staff.

WHAT WE HELP WITH

Concrete IT tasks we solve every day

RDP & Citrix access

Stable remote access to your terminal server — we diagnose dropped sessions, slow start-up and print problems from the terminal.

Printer management

Network printers, drivers and print queues that work from both the line-of-business system (RDP/Citrix) and ordinary Windows.

Microsoft 365 integration

Outlook, OneDrive and Teams set up to work with your line-of-business system and document handling.

Onboarding & offboarding

When a member of staff starts or leaves, we make sure access to the system, M365, mobile, MFA and print is granted or revoked consistently.

Network & VPN

Stable internet connection, secure VPN and QoS prioritisation so the system does not drop packets at peak times.

Endpoint security

SentinelOne on all PCs, MFA on all access points and hardening of the devices that touch the system.

Backup overview

We make sure you know what is backed up — both at your system vendor and locally on staff files and mailboxes.

Mobile & tablet

iPad, iPhone and Android set up with access to Outlook, Teams and the system's web access.

GDPR & NIS2 compliance

We advise on the technical requirements: encryption, MFA, access control, audit logging and documentation. The legal side sits with your DPO.

MitID & Digital Post

Integration between MitID, eBoks and Digital Post flows in your everyday work — relevant for lawyers, property managers and accountants.

HONESTY

What we do not do

We believe in being honest about scope from day one. It is the fastest way for you to know when to call us and when to call the vendor.

We do not host your terminal server or the line-of-business system itself — that sits with your system vendor.

We do not make changes to the system's data, configuration or business logic.

We do not replace the vendor's support agreement — we complement it, so you have one party for everything around it.

We do not develop modules or customisations in the system — that sits with your implementation or development partner.

DIVISION OF RESPONSIBILITY

Who takes care of what?

The most common mistake in line-of-business support is unclear scope — "who do I call?". The table below makes the boundary clear, so your staff know where to turn.

SYSTEMS

Line-of-business systems we have experience with

Do you use another system — Visma, Uniconta, e-conomic or something else entirely? Call or write to us — we will tell you honestly if it falls outside our experience.

EXAMPLES

What it typically looks like in practice

The examples below are anonymised — we do not name customers without permission. They are representative of the type of tasks we typically solve.

Housing association, ~25 admin users

RDP sessions were dropping 2–3 times a day and costing productivity. We mapped the network together with their ISP, adjusted QoS prioritisation and upgraded their firewall. Result: stable sessions without interruptions in the following weeks.

Law firm, ~15 staff

Printing from Citrix was unstable and the MFA set-up was incomplete. We standardised the print drivers, rolled out MFA on all access points and documented client data flows for the firm's compliance officer.

SME on Dynamics 365 Business Central, ~30 users

The Outlook integration worked intermittently and Power BI reports were timing out. We ensured consistent M365 licences, tidied up user management in Entra ID and got data sources configured correctly. Reports now run reliably.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about line-of-business support

Do you host our line-of-business system yourselves?+
No. Hosting and operation of Unik, Advosys/Epona or Microsoft Dynamics itself remains with your system vendor. We deliver everything around it — M365, network, endpoints, support and daily IT.
Do you replace the vendor's support agreement?+
No — we complement it. When the ticket concerns the system's core functionality, it goes to the vendor. When it concerns everything else (printer, email, network, mobile, Microsoft), you call us.
Do we need to cancel with our current vendor?+
No. You typically keep your agreement with the system vendor. We only step in on the IT work that falls outside their scope.
Can you talk to our vendor on our behalf?+
Yes. If you experience a problem where it is unclear whether it should be solved by us or by the vendor, we are happy to coordinate directly with them.
How quickly can you start?+
We typically arrange a free IT check within a week. Onboarding itself can start immediately afterwards — we do not need to wait for the vendor.
What does it cost?+
It depends on the number of users and how much you want covered. We always start with a free IT check, so you get a specific price based on your actual needs — no package that does not fit.
Are you a certified partner of Unik / Epona / Microsoft?+
We are a Microsoft partner and have experience with Unik Bolig and Advosys/Epona from practical work at customers. We do not claim to be official partners of platforms we are not certified with.
Which other line-of-business systems do you know?+
We have assisted customers on Visma, Uniconta, e-conomic, Navision and more. If you use a different system, call and ask — we will tell you honestly if it falls outside our experience.
How do you handle onboarding of new staff?+
We run a standardised process: user account in M365 and Entra ID, MFA set-up, mobile and email, OneDrive, print, system coordination with the vendor and equipment ready for day one. On offboarding we revoke all access with documentation. You do not have to remember all 10 steps yourself.
Do you take care of GDPR and NIS2?+
We advise on everything purely technical: encryption, MFA, access control, audit logging, endpoint hardening and documentation of the IT environment. The legal work itself — data processing agreements, DPIA, NIS2 registration — sits with your DPO or lawyer, but we deliver the technical foundation they need.
Who is responsible for backing up our data?+
Your system vendor typically backs up the system's database. We back up everything else: Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams), local files on staff PCs and any servers you have on site. See the division of responsibility table above for the full overview.
Can you help with MitID, eBoks and Digital Post?+
Yes. We set up Outlook integration with Digital Post, help with MitID Erhverv roles, eBoks administration and set-up of Outlook calendar, rules and signatures that work with the public authorities' flows.
