Set up business email on iPhone and iPad
Your business email can easily be set up on iPhone and iPad via the built-in Mail app. With Microsoft 365 or Exchange you also get your calendar and contacts synchronised automatically.
Open Settings
Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad. Scroll down and tap Mail. Then tap Accounts and Add Account.
Choose account type
If you use Microsoft 365 or Exchange: Tap Microsoft Exchange. If you use Mail Hotel (IMAP): Tap Other → Add Mail Account.
Microsoft 365 / Exchange setup
Enter your email address and a description (e.g. "Work email"). Tap Next. You will be taken to the Microsoft sign-in page, where you enter your password and possibly approve with the Authenticator app. Once signed in, choose what to synchronise: Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders. Tap Save.
IMAP setup (Mail Hotel)
Fill in: - Name: Your name (shown as sender) - Email: Your full email address - Password: The password you received - Description: E.g. "Company email"
Under server settings: Incoming: Server and port 993 (SSL) Outgoing: Server and port 587 (STARTTLS)
The username is your full email address in both places.
Done — check the Mail app
Open the Mail app. Your new email account appears under the inbox. It can take a few minutes before all emails are synchronised, depending on how much email is in the account.
We also recommend installing the Microsoft Outlook app from the App Store if you use Microsoft 365 — it gives you a better experience with Focused Inbox, calendar integration and quick actions.
