Virtual Data Centre
Your very own data centre – without owning a rack
About the product
Infrastructure as a Service with full control over networking, storage and compute. Choose between VDC (dedicated cluster) or CRP (flexible resource pool). ISO 27001 and ISAE 3402 certified with more than 15,000 virtual machines in operation.
A virtual data centre is Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), where you no longer have to manage the physical infrastructure – routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, SAN, load balancers and physical hosts. We take care of that. In return you get full control over your virtual environment and can create, configure and upgrade servers yourself as needed. The solution comes in two models: Virtual Data Center (VDC) gives you a dedicated cluster with physical hosts and is typically for larger environments from 120 GB RAM upwards. Cloud Resource Pool (CRP) is a flexible pool of shared, virtualised server resources – ideal for small and medium-sized setups with up to 120 GB RAM. Both models give you remote access to the server console, snapshot functionality, the option to remotely install the OS yourself and full VMware vSphere management. We run more than 15,000 virtual machines in production and offer technical advice and support for the VMware environment. All data resides in our ISO 27001- and ISAE 3402-certified data centre in Denmark with a Platinum SLA.
